The product will not be checked for its quality though it will bear a label which says that the product is quality checked. So you may not be able to get total protection from ultraviolet rays.
Furthermore, they may also not protect your eyes from bright sunlight as the shades tend to fade with replicas exposing your eyes to the danger of bright sunlight. Sometimes the lenses used are defective and this can harm your eye due to constant strain. You can also guess about the durability of the product that you can expect with replica sunglasses that are sold for less than $30. They may not last longer because of the quality of the material used.
So weighing all these pros and cons it is advisable to go for branded and quality sunglasses that you can rely on even though you will have to spend a few extra dollars.
